Supplying Components to CO2 Supercritical Extraction Machine Builders
The Stanley Proctor Company has been providing pneumatic and compressed gas components to industrial businesses for over 64 years. Our in-house experts can support your Supercritical CO2 Extraction products and applications. Whether you need help with system design, component selection or even repair of used components, the Stanley Proctor Company can support all your needs. We have been involved with customers building machines for the cannabis and essential oils industry for over 7 years!
Two of our manufacturers make products that are perfect for the CO2 Supercritical Extraction Process:
Emerson Tescom makes control/backpressure regulators that control pressures up to 15,000 psig/1034 bar and are suitable for gas or liquid service. These are for pump discharge pressure control, reactor pressure control and over-pressurization relief. Tescom also makes air operated valves offering normally open/normally closed capabilities, operating pressures of 6000, 10,000, and 15,000 psig, very high cycle life and an optional integrated solenoid valve.

Haskel offers air driven gas boosters for CO2 Supercritical Extraction applications with a wide range of pressure and flow capabilities. For use with CO2, Haskel offers gas boosters with special low permeability seals. Examples of Haskel models typically used in CO2 extraction systems are their AGD-14-50341 (for extraction pressures up to 2,000 psig) and their AGT-14/62-50341 (for extraction pressures above 6,000 psig).
Proven to be safe, robust, reliable, compact, and easy to maintain, Haskel pneumatic-driven gas boosters provide a number of operational benefits:
Haskel Air Driven Gas Boosters
AGT Two Stage Gas Booster Models
Two-Stage “AGT” boosters provide efficient means of boosting to a high gas compression ratio since the ratio per stage is low.
AGD – Single Stage Double Acting Gas Booster Models
Double Acting Single Stage “AGD” boosters pump twice the volume of a Single Acting, Single Stage Booster per cycle and require less air drive.
